Where's the nipples?
Bringing baby home from the hospital we thought we'd get a pack of these so we didn't have to make bottles right away. The "nipples not included" is not obvious on the packaging. The hospital had pre-sterilized nipples in packages. I wrongly assumed it was the same as these. What's the point???

The perfect solution
So you've sterilized all the baby equipment, and now what do you do with it while it is drying? The regular dish rack is too large and drying items on a towel takes forever, not to mention too much counter space. I've found this rack to be the perfect solution. It is small enough to tuck away easily when not in use, but large enough to hold lots of baby items. I can fit 3 breast pump attachments, 8 pacifiers, 2 bottles + nipples, covers and rings as well as 4 breast milk storage bottles easily. It is also very nice that it is angled to allow water to drain into the sink instead of pooling at the bottom of the rack. I also love how you can customize the configuration of the drying pegs, this ensures that the rack will remain useful long after bottles are a thing of the past. This is a great item!

Must have!
A bottle drying rack is a must have. If you have to hand-wash your bottles, they can dry here. If you are lucky and have a dishwasher you can store them here for easy access. The bottle/nipple brush is also a must have. These two things are extremely handy and make organization much easier.

Great Product!
I love this drying rack. It's the perfect size to hold everything and doesn't take up much counter space at all. It keeps everything organized and ready to use all in one spot. When you're a busy mom, you can't ask for more than that! You can also rearrange the prongs to hold more/less bottles or accomodate larger items. Water drains nicely into the sink and the entire rack fits easily into the dishwasher for quick, no-fuss cleaning.

Product Description

A unique breastmilk storage system designed for freezing or refrigerating breast milk, providing a safe alternative to plastic bags for storing and freezing milk for your baby. The storage rack is designed to allow ten five ounce bottles to rotate so that the milk is used in a "first-in, first-out" basis. Each bottle includes a cap plug and screw on cap to eliminate leaking. The bottles universal thread size allows the bottles to be screwed directly to most breast pumps to be used as breastpump collection bottles. Bottles may also be used to feed the baby with a universal nipple and collar. Set includes 10 bottles, 10 plugs, 10 caps, freezergrade labels, and storage rack. The storage rack is made from heavy duty wire and powder coated in white. Powder coating is a highly durable painting process. The bottles are manufactured using polypropylene plastic. Wow!!! Fabulous product for new moms!!!!
A friend turned me onto this product after I complained that the plastic bags I'd been using to store milk were a total mess from the leakage and cumbersome to handle, especially when transferring from the pump bottle to the bag. This system saves me that step and makes the whole concept of `storing milk' a piece of cake. I actually have 2 sets - one that I keep in the fridge and one that I keep in the freezer. I particularly love the `first in, first out' method of retrieval, since the bags had a tendency of co-mingling and I'd have to rummage through, wasting time and getting annoyed. Having an infant is exhausting - I can't believe I even have time to write this review - but I want other moms to know that this product makes life easier. Another blessing is the simple transfer from being able to attach the bottle to the pumping station then to fridge/freezer then to my child - there's no extra bag or liner to hassle with - the same bottle I use to capture the milk is the same bottle I use to feed my baby - what could be better than that?? Especially considering how many times I spilled precious milk onto the counter while trying to pour it into the bag. This is a good one, moms!!! Go for it!

Great for working moms!
I worked extremely long hours, and sproadic days after my son was born. My current schedule is Mon, Wed, Fri, and weekends as needed. So remembering milk and keeping up with it was very important!

I also had a HIGH supply. I'd often have 10 bottles of SPARE milk in less than a week's time!

This system really worked well for me. It was easy to grab X ammt of bottles for my son to take to daycare, or for his dad to feed him. Once the rack started to get full, I could easily pull out the extra milk and pour it into freezer ziplock bags to store.

I never had any trouble with leaking, but you do need to be cautious to get the lids on properly. the threads are thin, so if you rush you can mis-align them. I love the medela solid caps, but eventually they leaked on me...these never did, long as I paid attention and screwed the caps on properly!

They can be a pain to clean compared to a solid lid, but they didn't break down after over a year of heavy use for me, and that speaks volumes!

The only regret I had was not buying MORE bottles...I definately needed more than 10!!
I'm currently pregnant with my second, and if i'm to continue working, i'll definately be buying more bottles and using this system again :)

BUY THIS!!
This item is GREAT. It came just as described and has made storing my milk SO much easier. I agree with the other review that milk storage bags are messy and take up so much space in your freezer. I was also blessed with very active milk glands and at 6.99 for 25 bags..I was spending upwards of 30 dollars a month on the bags! This bottle storage system takes care of everything and you can use the bottles on my breast pump and the nipples from my bottles fit on them too! SO convienient! BUY THIS PRODUCT! I wish I could tell all mom's about this BEFORE they buy the bags and spend the money on them. This product pays for itself in a the first month! AND you can also buy extra bottles if you need them! A+++++
